As shown on our Home Page, in addition to membership of the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers, Cartwright Hardware is also a member of the Federation of Master Builders. Our Trade Counter, under the supervision of Ray Naylor, offers a wide range of tools and accessories in addition to the standard ironmongery which includes our impressive anti- ligature door furniture. (free tea or coffee is also available!).

Estate Developers

The wide circulation of our catalogue ensures that it is a useful source of reference particularly with the small, exclusive estate developer. The TV make-over programmes have also helped to raise the ironmongery profile especially on the artistic designs now available for door furniture including door handles and hinges and has assisted the company to progress in the current difficult trading climate for the construction industry.

Commercial Property

Commercial developments remain an important activity with both new and refurbishment projects being undertaken throughout Yorkshire, although this has been rather subdued over the past couple of years. The Cartwright client base remains particularly strong in this area due to our high quality door furniture and there is evidence of confidence returning to this sector.

Shopfitters

Companies which fit out both shops and offices remain an integral part of the Cartwright portfolio. Our own clients are active on a national basis.

Local Authorities

In 2010 the company successfully tendered for the ironmongery (3 year) contract with the Leeds City Council. We are also supplying ironmongery to Barnsley, Wakefield, Doncaster and Bradford councils. Our anti-bacterial door furniture is ideal for use in local authority buildings such as schools and hospitals.

Public Bodies

Cartwright has an excellent relationship with both architects and contractors who work with public bodies and are able to provide our expertise in anti-bacterial door furniture and anti-ligature door furniture.

National Accounts

Although Yorkshire based and focused, Cartwright does have a range of clients who carry out projects throughout the UK. Night clubs, caravan parks and showrooms have selected requirements from our range of anti-bacterial door furniture and anti-ligature door furniture.
